Sometimes its the little things that make our lives so much easier. We helped WVCF with routine processes like Pledge Reminders and Receipts. All of this we did remotely, helping save them hours on repetitive tasks.
After all, who wants to spend hours doing the mundane? dotOrg helped the Foundation revamp some onerous processes which has given them time to focus on the most important things: constituents.

600 Fundraising Systems? Quite a Cross to Bear
The American Red Cross has hundreds of fundraising systems between its National Headquarters and 600+ affiliates. This makes serving and communicating with constituents a difficult process and ultimately leads to duplication of efforts.
dotOrg assisted ARC in a process to select a new system that will ultimately serve the entire organization for all channels of fundraising. Moreover, we have worked with ARC and their vendors to identify requirements for the new system, design the new processes and develop a plan for system rollout.
A Tale of Two Systems and Entities
ASHA, like other associations, has a feature-rich Association Management System. Fortunately, through it's ongoing interactions with its members, ASHA acquires signficant and detailed constituent information.
dotOrg helped AHSA and their Foundation, the ASHFoundation, evaluate the options to exchange information between the Association and the Foundation.
Capital Improvements
Capital Hospice was having trouble selecting and exporting complex data for their direct mail vendors. The queries in The Raiser's Edge were so complex, in fact, that it was very hard to decipher what, if anything, was the problem.
We worked closely with Capital Hospice to evaluate the current system and make recommendations both for data cleanup and to refine the process to improve it and make it more efficient. While still complex, the process is documented and repeatable.
Enabling Higher Fundraising Achievement
Higher Achievement had The Raiser's Edge but it was not configured to meet their needs. We helped identify the problems and then undertook to clean up their data, reconfigure their database and revamp their process.
In addition, we have been helping HA with Fundraising System Management services - provide ongoing assistance with running reports, importing and exporting data, and doing data cleanup.
Planning for the Future
NLEOMF memorializes those who have died in the line of duty protecting Americans. As they get ready to unveil a public memorial, they realized that they needed to take a hard look at their disparate constituent systems.
dotOrg made recommendations for moving forward - along a path that included managing systems that included online advocacy and outreach, direct marketing, and some very sensitive constituent information.
Trusting in dotOrg
dotOrg is helping identify the path forward for a complex and geogrpahically dispersed organization.
NTHP's system was in significant need of updating. We are helping the Trust answer the question: "How in the world do we move forward?"
Luckily, they had the same philosophy as dotOrg: CRM is much more about the organization and its mission, rather than the technology that supports it.
Helping Sea Change
We helped Ocean Conservancy at many steps along thier CRM journey; selecting and implementing software, improving their direct mail system and integrating Raiser's Edge with Convio.
They helped us too; they gave us great language around the disconnected worlds of online and offline fundraising: 'agnosticism'. They came to dotOrg looking for a way to look at constituents agnostically - which means being able to analyze your donor base regardless of whether they prefer to be contacted by mail, online or phone. We are helping them build a system that meets that.
dotOrg: Good Samaritans
When we first came to Samaritan Health Services, there were three separate databases, with five separate sites doing data entry and database management.
We helped SHS navigate the functional and organizational hurdles; centralizing back-office functions and reducing the need for fundraisers need to learn the intracices of their database.
We helped get their databases merged too. Now they have a true 360-degree view of their constituents - helping them make more effective asks.
